If they show sports events at bars why don’t they show tv shows?

Actually, there is a similar sort of thing here in my hometown and it is off the chain!
It’s called EXP, an entirely video-game/misc themed restaurant/bar! And if you think for one moment it’s novelty based, vaguely guised, watered down for the masses or any of that, I humbly suggest you all take a look at the menu, and hell, even the look of the place!
Yes those are all screens on the walls which usually play tourney footage of Mortal Kombat, or WoW, or playthroughs of Bloodborne, Zelda, Halo, anything you could possibly think of. (I once forgot all about my company for about 20 minutes because I got distracted by a playthrough of Dark Souls.)
And that massive projected screen in the back? For tornaments, duh! (They do of course have arcade machines, as well as a Wii U elsewhere you can play- not to mention the x-box at the front you can get into if you’re waiting to be seated. Located next to a life size statue of Ezio Auditore.) These tourneys are no fucking joke bruh, free drinks for a week for ass kicking at Mario Kart Wii? (There was once a 45 minute wait because of a mortal kombat tourney) Not to mention tons of trivia nights, live streams, quiz shows, talk shows, movie nights…
The walls you can’t see here are coated with donated art from local freelancers, and the music’s the same! All video game OSTs or remixes, through and through.
And do not, don’t even get me started on the menu.

Fucking- Assassin’s creed- DnD-PORTAL SHOTS. YOU GUYS. I couldn’t possibly choose what on the menu is my favourite. The name’s are fucking great. (Attack on Taco, anyone?) The drinks menu on its own is great.
So yeah. Just thought I’d letch’all know. This exists. Shouldn’t let something done wrong prevent the same thing being done right.
